***UPDATE JUNE 02, 2009- I really need to extend my gratitude to all who participated, or even simply showed interest, in participating in the TFA Art Jam- now officially titled the
I haven't forgotten about you guys, either. This wasn't a contest so there weren't necessarily prizes involved, but there is a stamp in the works for all who participated to post on their pages, as well as an exclusive piece of art by yours truly that will be dedicated to all the participants and available for their exclusive usage.
Hope everyone had fun! Feel free to leave me feedback to the jam, constructive criticisms and the like.

ART JAM NOW CLOSED- MAY 31st, 2009
************************************************************************************************************
I just thought this would be a fun little something for any TransFans out there who would like to try something fun and challenge themselves at the same time.
The Idea: Take a famous/infamous scene from the 1986 or 2007 Transformers movies and re-imagine it using the style of the TRANSFORMERS: ANIMATED universe.
There are so many scenes to choose from both of the movies! Imagine TFA Megatron atop SUMDAC Towers Ripping TFA Jazz in HALF, for example!!! Scenes from the G1 animated Series, RoTF (what few scenes are available so far), and the old Marvel comics can all be covered as well. I don't like to limit creative influence and inspiration, especially with such classic images that can be pulled from the aforementioned media.
~~~To avoid any confusion, these are the basic rules of this art jam~~~
1) No Original Characters [OC]
2) If a character already has an official TFA redesign, you must use them as opposed to your own personal version. If you're not sure if they have TFA version, feel free to ask me
3) If a character DOESN'T have a TFA design, and you'd like to include your version, feel free!
4) It must be said, HOWEVER, that at least ONE character from the already established TFA universe must be featured in the submission.
5) Be sure to link back to this journal or this profile in your art description, so that visitors can appreciate all other entrants artwork as well.
6) HAVE FUN!
Don't get me wrong though, I'm not putting a limit on creative sources either. The G1 animated series, RoTF, even the old Marvel Comics (Shockwave's infamous "Are All Dead" cover comes to mind).
If you find a moment to do something outside your norm, give this a try
